Hungry Eye Gallery has been supporting talent since its founding in 2004.
As a collector, Roy Kahmann has been collecting prints from young and newly graduated photographers since the late 1990s and has continued to do so.
As gallery, besides representing over more than 30 renowned photographers we believe that talents are the future and we should do what we can to support them. At this moment, they can use all the support they can get. Hungry Eye Gallery LAB, founded a few years ago, has as its main focus to give these talents a platform to showcase their work and boost their careers. Succeeding in the world of photography is mostly a matter of hard work and maintaining focus but that is not all that counts. There is also a factor of luck, timing, and exposure. Any presentation can provide just the push they need.
